What house rules/regs/agreements do you wish you had (or recommend to) put in place?

Just for fun but a bit of pre parenting research, what things have you put in place or wish you had put in place from day one with your kids? DH & I laugh at next doors battles with getting their kids off Fortnite and when we discuss the "when we have kids..." topic we muse over only putting WiFi on for an hour per day from day 1 when said future kids have devices etc, what would you recommend? For all ages/phases 😊

The best parents don’t have children.

I wish that DD only thought phones were for phone calls and nothing else. And she had never discovered the ‘arrow button’. YouTube is kiddie crack and we’re only putting on a toothbrushing song but it all went quickly wrong and she was hooked. The arrow button has now disappeared.

Thinks that are working, encouraging independence and taking part in helping out around the house. The endless singing and chatting to her when she was tiny as well as baby sign.

Thanks, we see a lot of folk giving kids access to things like iPads etc I frankly don't like it but I can see why ppl do it, will try not to make that same error if it comes to it. 😊
