Hi, My DD is 3 in sept! We are going away soon for the weekend and she will be staying with SIL so I have been holding of until after this to make things easier for her and DD....

When we get back I need to start potty training, I don't know if she is ready yet because she has a speech delay but is speaking a lot more lately so I at least need to try!
But I also need to get rid of the dummy (she only has it at nap/bedtime) what am I better trying to do first? Crack the dummy or try the potty training....

And ANY TIPS for both would be GREAT!

Buying the book "Oh Crap" is always recommended. I have read it and it makes a lot of sense and has given me great confidence in starting soon.
