8 week growth spurt?

Has anyone else experienced an 8 week growth spurt? My LO (little one) has been having crazy long feeds the last few days and then today he has been super cranky, only having 10 min feeds every 2 hours and is sleeping a lot more than usual. He hasn’t got a fever and is alert during the short period he is awake so I’m wondering if this is a growth spurt but I didn’t think the next one was till 12 weeks?

Every baby is different... It seemed like mine was going through constant growth spurts for the first 12 weeks. Just roll with it, if he wants to feed/sleep then just let him!

Could be a growth spurt, could be something developmental. When my DD was 8 weeks there were a few days where all she did was eat and sleep, like she was probably awake for about 5 hours a day total, then she went back to normal except had discovered that she had hands, and started to make noises other than crying or grunting
