CONSTIPATION MEDICATION

How long was it until your lo went to the loo after taking the liquid stuff for constipation (can't remember the name and am out) she's had 5ml earlier and has to have 5 ml later. So 10ml a day for however many days. Will it just be normal or is it gonna be something messy?

@Howzaboutye yes that's it! She's gone to the loo once but it wasn't messy?? It's still, you know solid? Does it take time?

My daughter is on lactulose. We find that poo is soft but not loose or messy - also on 5ml 2x a day and she's age 3. She's been on it for about 2 months following multiple anal prolapses we think because of chronic constipation.
