Won't lie down

Help......
My daughter is 2yrs 10months, last Sunday we put her into her big girl bed!! She was super excited ... Unfortunately the Bed guard didn't fit so had to go without it! 1st night wasn't great but expepected that... As week gone on seems to of got worse! She won't lie down??? So I make her lie on me( in my arms) she just messes about! Tonight pretending to sing baby shark & doing the actions! Lol ... I try to leave her but screams, if tell her to stay in her bed/room so she sits on the floor! Not her bed!! So feel leaving her is pointless?
I didn't start routine until 8! No sleeps during the day anymore.. When come up she does her teeth, got ready for bed. Milk in bed while I read to her... As soon as milk has finished is when fun or hell starts!!
Any suggestions welcome!! ANY... 😬

You really need to brush teeth after milk.

I would just say it’s bed time now and lay down and ignore her. I have also told DD before that if she gets out of bed then I will leave the room. Do you have toys in the room?

Just leave her sitting on the floor. She'll go to bed eventually.

And yes teeth brushed after milk

As a rule teeth are done after milk, however when was lying down wasn’t taking the risk!!
Think will put a stair gate across her door! She will go mental but will try it... she is so strong willed! Bribery isn’t even working..!!
