My son is 5 months old and still has really bad Moro reflex. Last night I attempted to not swaddle him and he kept waking up every 5 minutes or so. I finally gave in and swaddled him. Well he turned over while swaddled last night. I seriously do not know what to do. If I don’t swaddle him he won’t sleep and if I do I risk him turning over. I caught it right when it happened thank god but I can’t stop thinking he might of not been breathing? He seems fine today I don’t see anything new and when I turned him back over he just readjusted and went back to sleep. I’m seriously having the worst anxiety about this and I just don’t know what to do.

I bought my boy a transition swaddle. You can take one arm out at a time as opposed to both at once. This might help? I just got it off amazon x

It was this one. It keeps their arms up by the head as opposed to on their body x

I think you just have to stop swaddling once they can turn over. What if you pin down the arm that he needs to push himself up?
