Will he have a box there to keep nappies/wipes/cream in? If so then you'll need to take those to fill his box.

For his normal every day bag i pack: spare top, trousers and vest.

Bottles x 2

Formula measured out

Dummy

Nappies, wipes, bum cream and a full change of clothes. At dd1’s nursery we had to bring their own sippy cup to stay there and if giving formula then a tin of that and bottle/s. Coat for going outdoors and shoes/slippers if your nursery requires them.

In our bag we have spare clothes, wellies (if walking!), hat, scarf, gloves (from winter but I've left them in). We leave nappies and wipes there, and she takes a coat and dummy when she goes. She also has a cup there as she refused to drink out of the one provided.

As well as the above our nursery asks for sun cream and a sun hat from this time of year, I just leave them in her bag throughout the spring/summer months.

Also, DD has a sleeping bag there as she uses one at home (they wash it there).

Our nursery requests:

Nappies, wipes and cream
Spare outfit, including socks
Coat, hat, mittens for outside. or in the summer - sun hat and sun cream
Blanket, dummy and toy or other comfort item for naps
Water bottle
Mine were past the baby bottles and baby food stage when they started, but I guess you send those if required

At our nursery we leave everything there and they let us know if they need more nappies or whatever. Blanket and toy and water bottle come home on a Friday and go back on a Monday
