Age-appropriate internet & TV for 7 year old

Just looking to hear from others in a similar position or with a similar experience. My eldest is nearly 8 & has recently started to ask why she can’t watch YouTube or CBBC like her friends. She watches a few programmes from CBBC (Danger Mouse, The Worst Witch & Alvin & the Chipmunks) but because she has a 5 year old sister who wants to do everything her sister does, CBeebies & Tiny POP are whats normally on & she’ll still happily watch My Little Pony etc. They both have Fire tablets that are set to age-appropriate content - & suggests shows for my 7 year old like the American show Bella. I don’t allow YouTube access at all. What does your 7/8 year old watch?

My DD(6) and DS(9) year old both love Teen Titans Go.

Why can't she watch CBBC?

Sorry no I’ve not been stopping her watching CBBC, it just didn’t occur to me that she might have outgrown it until she said all her friends watch it 🙈 she’s now loving The Worst Witch series.

Mine love Teen Titans too. It's the bloody devil's work! I can't bear it.
Have you tried Merlin? My 2 will both watch it with us.

My 7 year old is a bit obsessed by the deep on CBBC. It’s basically octonauts for the next stage up!

Worst Witch here as well... if you have access to Netflix then my daughter is currently obsessed with a series called "Just Add Magic" x
