Agh my baby is such a miserable git

DD is 5 weeks old and is such a miserable git! As much as I love her, she is hard work.

Non stop hunger so we’ve always got a bottle on the go (she’s formula thread with a bottle of breast milk each day). She has reflux which I know is really unpleasant for her but it’s just constant crying and moaning. Then I feel bad getting frustrated as I know she’s uncomfortable and she’s just a baby.

Please tell me she’s not going to be a miserable adult!

My DD1 spent the first three months crying. She’s a very lovely kid now! This too shall pass. Also, no judgement on “git”- definitely called mine way worse (remember often answering the question on the phone to DH “Hows your day been?” in the early days with “Baby HeyCarrieAnne is being a wanker!”

You're entitled to feel shit. You'll be knackered & fed up and your babys been a miserable git for 5 weeks. Its exhausting, but it will pass. You'll both be fine & find a way through it!
