Would Lansinoh work as a wool wrap treatment?

Probably a stupid question but I've just knitted ds his first wool wrap & need to lanolise it but it seems to be expensive stuff. I do have half a tube of Lansinoh left from our early breastfeeding days - would this work & how would I go about it?

Yup - tis fine.

Put about a teaspoonful in a pot with a squirt of baby shampoo and pour very hot water over it and mix it all up (an old jar with a lid is ideal as you can shake it all).

Pour it into enough cold water to cover the wrap (the water needs to end up about 30c when they are mixed).

Soak it overnight, and then dry.
