I split up with abusive, drug addict ex around 2.5 years ago. He initially saw out 2 dds every other weekend for a day/night. However, he constantly didn't turn up last minute, cancelled, and sent me abusive messages. So I stopped contact, and told him to go through the courts.
After many hearings, last year he was awarded indirect contact via letters for four months, then supervised contact at a contact centre for 2 hours, every other Saturday. Now contact centre have asked me about moving on. There is no court provision for this. (I don't think anyone thought it would get this far). His sister has nominated herself for 3rd party hand overs if I drop off dds. Which I don't want to do as they live a 30 mins drive away, but I digress.
However, although he has always turned up at the contact centre. I'm worried that he will revert back to the cancelling/messing about. What provision is there for this? For example would I be entitled to stop making them available if they were let down 3 times? Or would it be best to request mediation and get a more formal agreement. The court order states not to return to court.
