Bunged up and coughing

For the past 5 months my daughter (3.5) has been going to bed with a fully blocked up nose, like she has a cold, and a chesty cough. During the day she seems totally normal. Come the morning she has a chesty cough again that she needs to clear and then seems to be fine for the day again until bedtime. I was wondering what I can do to help her, it’s so frustrating for her not being able to breathe very well when she goes to bed and if she gets upset at bed time it’s 20 files worse. Any ideas? 🤷‍♀️

How odd! Is there anything she only eats/drinks in the evening? Does she have a feather pillow or anything that she might be allergic too? I’d maybe try cutting out dairy (or at least trying lactose free) and freezing pillow as I think that kills dust mites.

For the actual stuffiness you can get plug in menthol diffusers that may help? Calpol ones. Or some vix possibly? Hopefully someone else will have more ideas

Saline nasal sprays/washes are also meant to be good if she’ll tolerate it...
