Edinburgh mums

Hello everyone,

I will be moving to Edinburgh with family this summer. Any recommendations on nurseries in the Bruntsfield, Morningside or other central areas? Is there any way of finding out which nurseries does not have long waiting lists without calling each of them individually? Also, does anyone have experience with the ARCADIA nursery? Any other tips about nurseries in Edinburgh would be very much appreciated. We have the misfortune of moving with short notice, so we have not been able to get our ds on a waiting list. Thanks so much

Hi- I'm on the other side of town and had heard horror stories about waiting lists for nurseries but they don't appear to have been justified. I don't know if that's city wide, but friends up that way don't seem to have had issues.
We had a look at the print version of this www.nurseryandschoolguide.co.uk/ when looking at nurseries.
It was quite useful.
