Yesterday my DS2, age 2 years 1 month did a wee on the potty. Just before tea today he gave me warning of a poo and I smelt it about 10 mins later. I had planned to try him in the hols but will waiting 2 weeks mean I miss my chance? I am currently without a washer so can't really manage millions of wet pants. CTTOI he pointed out pants in Sainsbury's today....

I think that you should grasp the moment and do it when he seems interested. Started potty training ds1 (2.3) last week because he was getting very excited about doing wees and poos on the potty. Not an ideal time because we were away at a wedding at the weekend (ans forgot to take the potty )but it has gone really well. No washer is a bit of a nightmare though. g
Guess you can quickly wash things by hand as soon as he wets them so should be able to keep on top of it. Ds1 went through 3 sets of bottoms on his worst day so not too bad.

He went on to do another poo with no warning!!!
I have forgotten what CTTOI stood for now.
