2nd birthday party

Hi

It's DS's second birthday in a couple of months and I'm thinking of having a little party with family, some of whom would be travelling a couple of hours to get here. This may be a silly question, but what time do you plan a party when the birthday boy normally has his lunch at 11ish and goes for a nap 12-2? (ie right over lunchtime!).

I think his naps must have been at more sociable times last year as I don't remember having this dilemma.

Thanks for any thoughts Smile

10-12? 3-5?

I'd nudge his nap a little earlier e.g. 11.30am and schedule the party from 2 or 2.30pm for 2 hours.

3-5, had exactly the same scenario with my ds and this worked perfectly

Thank you! 3-5, or a little earlier, sounds like a winner. Good idea about nudging the nap forwards too Normandy144, that would buy us some more time in the afternoon.
