Chickenpox - when was the worst day for you?

We are day 2 of chicken pox, DD1 seems fine in herself, has a fair few spots, quite a lot on her scalp which are itchy for her. I want to know if we have hit the worst of it yet or will there be a lot more on their way?? We are using Poxclin mousse which seems to be helping her.
Going to give her a salt bath soon as apparently that helps dry out the spots & scab quicker (don’t know how true this is).

When was your worse day of the pox?

it was maybe day 3 when she got v itchy, bicarb and oat baths helped.

We're on day 5 so far. Nights 3 and 4 have been bad but days have been ok since I started her on antihistamines. She's having 2 oat baths a day, being smothered in the mousse , 4 or 5 times per day, and I think we have more spots coming... !

I'm knackered!

About day 10. It was horrific, infected spots, suspected sepsis, the works.

DTs had an extreme case each though.

I would use bicarb not salt.
