Can my nearly 9 month old eat watermelon? Or suck on it? For teething and in general to eat? Without the seeds?and in small pieces?

A 9 month old can eat anything apart from honey, choking hazards like whole nuts and whole grapes, and anything excessively salty.

Watermelon is perfect. Give it to your LO in large chunks that they can hold and chomp on. This is much safer than cutting food up into little pieces - if you cut harder foods into bite-sized pieces they can become choking hazards.

I bet you LO will love it!

Yes, of course, both of mine ate melon from 6 months. They really can have everything at that age apart from honey, whole nuts, or anything full of huge amounts of salt and sugar.

Yes. The packs you can buy in the supermarket are great as they are in handy child size pieces!

Bite size pieces of watermelon are an absolute favourite with mine, I'd recommend them to anyone

Cut foods into finger length pieces. Babe can share meals with you and foods bar choking hazard and honey until one or whole noted until 7. For blueberries smosh them, grapes cut lengthwise 4 times. Big strawberries left as os.
