I started to wean my baby from 6 months (it’s been a few weeks now). At the moment I’ve been making batches of single veg into chunky purées and seperating between 1oz pots (changing food every 3 days) It takes her probably 2/3 feeds to finish off a 1oz pot but when do you start feeding them more food?

I’ve just followed joe wicks weanin15 on Instagram, I think his daughter is 7 months and her plates of food look like mini meals

This sounds like babe led weaning to me. Whereas you ditch those purees. Hey there so there's no first foods with baby led weaning babe shares your meals that the beauty of it.With expections of
❌honey and foods containing honey
Unpasteurised foods
Raw sprouts
Raw or uncooked foods such as eggs, meat and seafood
Obvious choking hazard.
You can start with 3 meals a day if you like. As long as when they are one they have 3 meals day and 1_2 snacks depending on babes appitie. Here's a link to a group am admin of of you are interested m.facebook.com/groups/165873284155236?tsid=0.7372581170811219&source=result

NHS suggests moving toward 3 meals by 8-9 months, which when mine was 6 months + a bit seemed like a distant dream. Try offering something when you eat?
I follow that weanin15 too, and there ia definitely at least one post where he says that the amount the baby eats is pretty tiny and much ends up in the floor! I must admit the amounts on the plate for Indie baby were making me a bit insecure about what mine was eating until I saw that. PS lots of helpful info on the weaning chat thread.
