sibling jealousy - has anyone improved things with their dc's???

my dd is insanely jealous of my ds. she is 6 and he is 4. he is far more "able" and social than she is. i desperately try and give her good positive attention but she attacks him all the time and displays very obvious signs of being jealous - over and on top of normal sibling rivalry. i am at my wits end and desperately want to support her but find her behaviour so unpleasant. it is a vicious circle that i would love to break - anyone able to suggest ways to improve things? i give her one to one time whenever i can.

Hi Mousie

I have two ds 6 and 4. My 6 year old often attacks my 4 year old (and has done since birth in various ways) - despite following all advice on siblings I could find. I would love to know if you found any answers!
