Will DC sleep for nanny?

DS (13 months) has never slept well. He breastfeeds to sleep and only recently has DH been able to get him to sleep without me at bedtime but even then that’s by snuggling with him in our bed before transferring him to his cot.

He’ll be looked after by a nanny part-time from next month and I’m worried about whether he’ll nap.

Does anyone have any experience of bad sleepers napping in childcare and how that works?

Quite possibly.

Many, many children do many, many things for childcarers that they won't do for their parents! Sleep, eat veg, use the potty, hold hands crossing the road, walk without a tantrum, dress themselves etc. etc.

If there is no medical reason for him to be a bad sleeper and your nanny is experienced I think he probably will sleep for him/her.

Thanks Nuffsaid, I’m hoping that’s the case
