Belly troubles with teething?

Baby is nearly four months. Showing all clear signs of teething; rubbing face, irritability, crying alot (not usual self) trying to bite on everything, and drooling everywhere but over last few days is showing signs of tummy cramps? Is this normal? Otherwise seems happy and engaging. Nappy was slightly looser than normal today but drinking well. So was just wondering does teething give them excess wind or bellyache? Thank you in advance ☺️

Ours gets horrible diarrhea with teeth so I wouldn't be surprised if tummy ache was a thing too.

Thanks so much! Just gave some calpol and now sound asleep. Bless them. So hard to know! Poor things don't know what's going on.

It's because they are usually swallowing a lot of saliva during teething and this affects the tummy and often gives loose/horrible nappies too.

Common. You could try homeopathic Chamomilla. Available in any pharmacy that sells homeopathics.
