Baby suddenly doesn't like baths?!

Hello,
Does anyone else have or has had the same problem I am having. Im a first time mum so apologises if I sound a little stupid Confused
My daughter is 5months old and since day 1, she absolutely loved her bathtimes, she was always happy in the water and loved being in the bath, she used to cry when bath time was over, but a few weeks back she has suddenly decided she doesn't abymore, she screams the house down when she is in there, nothing will calm her, I have tried being in there with her, I have tried making it fun but she still continues to hate it. She will scream to the point, she starts panicking and getting in a terrible state, even to the point that now, if I even walk her in the bathroom, she looks at the bath and screams before she is even in there. It has only ever been me that has bathed her and she has never fell or coughed on water, so I know she isn't scared of that.
Any help of how to calm her? Make bath time fun and relaxing for her again?
Thanks in advance :) I appreciate any advice and help.

Aw both mine did this. I think it's because they're suddenly aware of more sensations and perhaps more fear.

What I did was get one of those plastic baby baths and put it in the living room on a towel. I put a couple of inches of water in it and some ducks....then I played in the water with my hands so DD could watch.

Work up to getting her hands in there if she doesn't mind...and then her feet...just for a splash.

We attend a swimming group and they tell us about what they call the "water wobbles" !! Which is where a child may suddenly have an aversion - apparently completely normal and part of their development. Here's a link to what they say

Both of mine went through that phase too, like little shower-averse teenagers.

Can she sit? If she can she might like one of those bath seats. I think they feel much more secure in those. Also leaves your hands free to play with her toys, blow bubbles etc.

Mine did this, so I took him in the shower with me holding him to my chest and cleaning him up. This graduated to putting the plug in while the shower was running and giving him toys to play with. It does pass.

All mine have cycled between hatred and joy at bath time. Eventually by the time they've got to about 3/4 they've started liking it. My youngest has been screaming for a while always standing up trying to get out. A few months back I got in with him. He's loved it since even though I've not got in again.
