How many clubs do your children go to?

DD1 and DD2 were never that interested in joining anything, although they did go to gymnastics for a bit. DD3 aged 7 goes to ballet once a week.

A girl in DD3 ballet class does gym, swimming, ballet and brownies. She goes to brownies straight after ballet and doesn't have any tea. She has two girls and they both do lots of clubs. I think that is OTT. Although I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous cos I couldn't afford to pay for my chidren to do so many clubs if they wanted to.

ballet and brownies only for DD (8)

DS is 5 and he doesn't do any clubs - he's not interested really and he is shattered after school. He has his name down for Beavers when he is 6 though.

I have a friend who's girls do loads of clubs, they're never in the house! I know that wouldn't suit my two but it probably suits hers or they wouldn't want to do it. They're all different.

one dd9 goes trampolining,
would like them both to do swimming but cant afford it,

i think the government should fund cheaper lessons, as it is a life saving skill

My dd's go to Irish dancing and swimming, dd1 goes to Brownies and dd2 to Rainbows.

I agree snowwonder about the swimming, we didn't have the money to pay for the swimming fees last time, which are termly, so my dd's were going to have to miss one term, my mum paid for them in the end. I think every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim.

Dd is 5 and does ballet and swimming on Sat and Sun mornings respectively. Just starting to think about taking up some kind of instrument.

Ds is 2 so all we do is a toddlers 'music' class once a week.
