Hi, I’ve bought a second hand wooden cot and a new matress but the plastic cot rail protectors that clip on the top of the rails are split so I’ve taken them off, can anyone recommened any cot rail protectors from anywhere? I’m meaning the rail across the top btw. I only found one place selling them online which is weird, any help appreciated

I don't think they're all that essential to be honest, although I do know the bits you mean. I'd just leave them off.

Never heard of cot rail protectors; are they to prevent the baby messing it up by nibbling?

I have never heard of them either. What are they for?

I got my cot from IKEA and it never read these and didn't miss them. My mum has a cot from Mothercare which does have them but I have never seen the benefit.

I’ve painted the cot with baby safe paint but was just worried bout baby chewing the rail, they look like this www.vertbaudet.co.uk/pack-of-2-cot-rail-covers-shooting-stars-theme.htm?ProductId=702300140&utm_source=AWIN&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_term=422173&cmpid=AFF0020&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8vaxsriQ4QIV0-J3Ch3AXQbhEAQYAiABEgJw5_D_BwE. Just wanting to know if anyone else got them or if ok to leave
