My parents have been worried about me recently i’m 21 however due to reasons i don’t want to mention I act younger than my age. I don’t have a lot of ‘real life friends’ however I have a group who are lovely but my parents want me to widen my friendship group. I find socialising with people quite hard however recently I joined an Instagram fandom and i’ve really enjoyed talking to people on there. I want to tell my parents about my account as a way of making new friends (safely) but I don’t really know where to start telling them. I’ve seen some other threads on here that seem really helpful regarding this topic.
