Cutie patooties? Who has them?

I love my rainbow totsbots but I have just seen the cutie patooties website. Does anyone know of these?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Tigerlillies · 08/09/2004 20:07

Yes I have often raved about them.
The nappies and aio are cute and a great fit for my ds.
One big problem though is that the inner booster tends to twist leaving it a bit bumpy if you don't shake it out properly after each wash. I keep on meaning to e-mail the cuties maker about that actually as I'm sure it's easily remedied.
My favourites are still tots bots and ecobaby nappies though.
HTH

Mrs D, you are obsessed

I have been admiring the totsbots website myself and wondering if dd3 deserves some new nappies - we have plenty but they are boring now compared to all the new ones on offer.

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:14

I was wondering whether to buy one just for showing off. It's my sisters wedding next weekend. I hadn't expected so many people to comment on the fact I use reusable nappies - dd is 5 months. It would nice to have a nappy to REALLY show off with!!!
Thank for replying Tigerlilies

Fennel - you are not the only person to say that to me. VERY sad I know

I can't find nappies on the cutie patooties website. lots of very nice clothes and sleeping bags though! where are the nappies?

Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:18

my nappies are a bit old to show off now, 3rd baby in, but I do show off that they've lasted that long. Impressive value-for-money.

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:19

Fennel - try this

cutiepatooties
She is a UK wahm SO SHE MIGHT BE ABLE TO MAKE SOMETHING TO ORDER. Oops caps lock!
Minki do lovely wraps to order. If you have a favourite dress, picture, t-shirt etc just send that to her and she can match up the colour and copy any pattern onto the wrap/nappy.

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:25

I quite fancies one of the nappies, actually.
Or do you need to wrap them? Sorry, I had assumed you didn't.

OP posts:
Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:25

oh, I want some

we only have whiteish/unbleached nappies and white wraps.

still want some lavendar totsbots too.

must get a grip....

Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:26

But "my" cutiepatooties website has clothes and no nappies, strangely.

Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:28

Tigerlillies - wahm?

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:28

you need to look on the UK website if your googling!! try my link

Work At Home Mum - WAHM
Minkis do aio's, nappies and wraps. Oh and pull ups and pocket nappies which are my faves.

Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:31

cool phrase. it's a new one to me.

serious case of nappy-lust here

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:32

Fennel it's only my new candy pink, lavender and marogold rainbow bots that has got me into this again. They are lovely. I needed to buy more for the nursery. They use loads, but I would rather that than not change them enough.

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:34

Which ones are you looking at Fennel?
I like the cutie patooties, how do they fit Tigerlillies? Are they worth a splash?

Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:38

Mrs D - at risk of being very boring but it's only us on this thread - how many do you have? I should have about 23 but some seem to have got lost lately. possibly justifying some more.

Tigerlillies · 08/09/2004 20:39

Pros..
They are a very neat fit for my ds. They are soft and very cute.
Cons.. Well the inners always twist and the aio's aren't great for poo containment but then again I don't buy nappies purely for function.

Tigerlillies · 08/09/2004 20:42

The cutie patootie wraps are great though!

I have too many nappies, really it's ridiculous. I need to get on ebay I think.

Fennel · 08/09/2004 20:43

Rainbow, purple stars, black flower power all look good. would also like one of each totsbots colour.

MrsDoolittle · 08/09/2004 20:50

I started with a MEOS to try, then I discovered bumbles. I tried one of those - very cute, then I discovered totsbots. So I ordered 5 of each.
You'd think I was sorted... but no. THEN I discovered RAINBOW totsbots.
In the end I settles on 5 MEOS, 5 Bumbles and 2 unbleached totsbot with nappy nippa and 5 beautiful rainbow totsbots with velcro and liner. I had 17 but following the loss of my lime green totsbots (I think it must be in my mothers airing cupboard) and the delivery of another 5 today I have a grand total of 23!!!
But I don't really like the MEOS, I ought to sell them really.

Tigerlillies what size should I go for. She is in size 1 tots.

well i need to buy mroe nappies. i have to start from scratch efectively as dd2 didnt go into washables till she was nearly one and even then she went straight into size 3 totsbots.

So i need to get some newborn/size one nappies for bump, but am overwhealmed by choice.
