Hi, my DD has just turned one last week and is formula Fed. She has 6oz in the morning and 6oz before bed, is this enough for her age? I'm thinking about dropping her morning bottle as she doesn't really bother with it. She won't drink cows milk at all and won't eat it with cereal so I have made the baby porridge but used the cows milk instead of formula and she ate that no bother. Is it enough for her just to be having 6oz at this age? Or should I keep going with the morning 6oz? X

They still need the equivalent of 300mls (10/11oz).

She needs 350 mg of calcium a day. This can be milk or it can be from other sources. I would be starting to put it in a cup now.

We switched to cow's milk at 12 months and so my LO has a 3oz cup in the morning with breakfast but still has a 7oz bottle at bedtime (teething and a cold mean I've not been brave enough to switch to a cup for this yet!). He also has cheese and a yogurt every day. I found that switching to a cup reduced the amount he wanted to drink in the morning.
