Is this the end of naps?

Hello,

I've had to cut my DS's (18 months) naps down to half an hour as he would wake in the night if they were any longer. This past week it's taken him hours to fall asleep when usually it's only 30-45mins.

Does this mean I need to drop the nap?

Maybe. Mine dropped all naps by 20 months.

All kids are different, so yes it could be. But it’s pretty early, and I believe there’s apparently a sleep regression around 18m, so I’d probably persevere. My DS started to drop his nap around 2.3, but it took til he was nearly 3 to be consistently not napping. He was one of the youngest in his peer group to stop napping
