First ever play date - help!

My little boy (3.5) has his first play date tomorrow, we've obviously been to my friends houses who have kids the same age but never been for a play date with one of HIS friends if you see what I mean! I literally chat in passing to the mum! What do I need to know?? Do I need to bring anything, how long is over staying our welcome? I'm quite shy so this is quite a big thing for me!

I'd bring a packet of nice biscuits or some doughnuts!
Just chat with the Mum and enjoy!
It doesn't need to last very long, maybe an hour or an hour and a half?

Thank you! Is it silly that I'm nervous...

Leave before a mealtime or naptime.
