Hi,
My son is 7 months old today whiles changing his nappy I seen some spots on his belly not all over just on once side. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

This looks like possibly the start of chickenpox.

I agree with chicken pox.

Hi, my one year old came out in these a couple of weeks ago. The nursery thought it was chicken pox so we picked him up. Two days they had reduced but not gone so we took him to the doctors. They confirmed it wasn't chicken pox but said it could be a viral thing or a reaction. Since then they've disappeared with the odd one coming up then going every few days.
Really strange, please let me know what yours turn out to be

My little boy gets these on his tummy when he has a cold or similar. We've taken him to the doctors about it a couple of times as nursery thought it was chicken pox, but they were convinced both times it was just a viral rash

Another one here who has a rashy 1 year old :) he gets these very regularly. Dr says they don't seem to be allergies or anything serious, they correspond with when he has a cold so likely viral response.

I got called to pick him up from nursery at least 6 times in about 8-9 months with "chicken pox". Every time a day at work cut short to pick him up, emergency doctors appointment, told it's nothing, back to nursery. They've accepted now it's "normal for him". The spots never go crusty.

I have found that moisturiser really helps, so perhaps its a sensitivity thing? Just baby e45 after bath helps a lot
