Hi everyone,

Has anyone got a tommee tippie prep machine and using mam bottles?

Just I have noticed that my baby is on 5oz but when the prep machine finishes it's under 5oz?

Anyone else have this problem?

It should end up over 5oz once powder is added to the water, not under.

Could you measure 5oz into a measuring jug and see where that comes up to on the mam bottles?

I never had this problem. I even used it to measure out four ounces of water as we used to have to make up bottles out and about ( 2oz hot and 4oz cold).

Stupid question but you are putting in the hot shot ?

We use Perfect prep with Mam bottles- I seem to have the opposite problem, it always looks 'over'.
I think it's bubbles from the shaking though.

It should look over as powder added to the water leads to displacement and you then end up with slightly over 5oz
