Help! My Sons Hate Eachother

Need advice. My two sons aged 8 and 12 hate eachother and can't get on at home or in public. They are both mildly on the spectrum and are oblivious as to how they come across. They have completely different personalities and they find eachother's quirky behaviours very irritating. I know most parents of boys only struggle, but I think generally the fighting happens behind closed doors?

I've obviously tried talking to them, punishing them, taking away screens etc, giving them individual attention. I'm clearly doing something wrong.

I was advised to draw different situations to help them visualise how they come across in different social situations, but it doesn't help much, as every situation is different?

Any other tips?

Sadly not - it really is difficult if for ex. one child's stimming is the other's trigger.
DD (ADHD) used to wear headphones to escape DS's (ASD + ADHD) constant running commentary of everything he was doing, watching, reading. They both grew out of it.
