Feeling like such a rubbish Mum for moving nurseries.

My ds as been at his nursery for 10 months and has only just really settled. I also work in a nursery (not his) i made the decision to change his nursery to the one i work at. His last day at his old nursery was yesterday (he only did mornings) so all this week in the afternoons he's been coming to have settling sessions at my work but he's not settling. He keeps saying 'my nursery, not Mummy's nursery'. Sad I feel so sad like ive made the wrong decision. (I know I haven't, i thought about it for a long time before i made the decision) still cant help feel like this though. Anyone else changed their child's nursery. Did it take them long to adapt?

Well that was quick! Glad it worked out

I know! He had tears when I left but by the time I picked him up he didn't want to leave and was surrounded by children trying to play with him Grin I think as soon as he realised I was coming back he was fine!

If he took 10 months to start to settle in the old one, I'd say you made a good choice to move as it sounds like maybe it wasn't the right place for him. Glad he's settled straight away with the new place!
