Mush app

Has anyone used this, is it actually safe? I am always worried with these types of apps as you never actually know if it is safe. I am a single mum of one and lost the majority of my friends when I had my little girl/moved. So I thought this might help with meeting up with mums and finding children of a similar age for my little one to play with. BUT, there is this huge worry of I don't want to put my daughters or my life at risk if any old weirdo can join.

It's probably as safe as online dating, apply the same rules eg meet in public, don't give away your whole life story.

I'm on it and found a great group to go to and have met up with a couple of the mums outside of that group now too. Also, found some mums who are very close by that I wouldn't have known about or easily contacted without Mush.

My baby is all over my instagram but not clearly on my mush profile, the photo is old (young baby has changed a lot) and her name isn't on there though it is on IG because it feels weird to me to put it along side our location publicly. you can look up her name on the birth register though because my first name is very uncommon

Occasionally a Dad pops up, I've seen one that doesn't seem an odd ball and a few more that range from awkward to creepy.
