Age own room

At what age did you put your little ones in their own room. Also into a toddler bed. My little one flips alot so a bit scare to however it's getting really hard for me to get lo into cot.

What age is your LO? Mine went into the nursery at 6 months as sids risk is vastly reduced. The book I have says baby's can sleep on their tummy from 8 months as the sids risk is nearly gone but not at that stage yet.

I changed my daughters cot into a toddler bed at 16 months and blacked her room out, don't think she ever noticed the change 😂 she was such an easy baby, even now at nearly 4 she doesn't get out of bed unless for the loo. My ds isn't going to be so easy.

Just before 2 and straight into a big girl bed.

He went into his own room when he was 4 months old and we turned his cot (bed) into a toddler bed bed when he was 2. He fell out a few times! He's just turned 4 and his single bed has been delivered today.

Not going to be a popular answer but mine were all in their own room at 6weeks.

Bed when they could climb out of the cot - about 18 months.

First one, own room at 4.5 months. Second one, 8 or 9 weeks.

Toddler bed at about 20 months ish.

Dd was 6 weeks old in her own room. She was a noisy shuffler but fortunately slept through from 2 weeks so we didn't want to disrupt anybodys precious sleep.
Very tall toddler but also lazy so didnt covert cot to bed till she was about 3. She could easily have climbed out at just after a year if she'd had a mind too.
One thing we may have done wrong is insist on quiet blacked out room with the door shut. Great when she was small but now she's 11 sleepovers at friends are proving difficult as it's always too bright/noisy.
