Could this be silent reflux?

11 week old bottle fed DS. We had a few issues with feeding in the early days, vomiting etc but settled with Dr browns bottles and infacol.

Since about 8-9 weeks we've been struggling with feeds again. He's not vomiting anymore and is perfectly happy and settled within minutes of stopping feeding, we can lie him flat no problem, nappies fine. The issue is purely during feeding when he becomes so agitated, sometimes he seems in pain, sometimes frustrated. It's mainly during the day feeds - when he's drowsy during the night it's fine. I've tried everything, positioning, upping teat sizes, all to no avail. 9 days ago went to health visitor to be weighed, his weight is fine and following 50th centile nicely. She said he may have a sore throat and if no change then try comfort milk (we are on hipp milk). Have now done that and no change! He has anything between 2.5oz and 5oz every 3 hours but we have to stop after every ounce to calm him down, give him his dummy then try again. It's awful to see him so distressed and every feed is a battle. Should I go to the GP and discuss possible silent reflux? Would be interested to hear any other suggestions.

If you go they will likely prescribe infant gaviscon to see what happens, its completely harmless so if it doesnt help you've not lost anything! I went with a hunch DS had it and it turned out i was right but i talked it through with the HV first. Maybe do that?
