2 year old won't stay in bed

I'm having to share a room with my 2 year old and month old baby, for the time being. At home, she was in a bed and would stay in her own room.

She just won't stay in bed and will wake at 4 or 5am, then totally refuse to go back to bed. I've tried putting her back in over and over. She doesn't seem to understand the word 'bed', so saying that doesn't help. She will just be back out within 2 minutes and will try to jump on mine. She thinks it's a game, even if it goes on for 4 hours or so.

Baby still wakes for feeds throughout the night, so I'm absolutely exhausted. It's really not getting any better.

Also, I can't use my travel cot, because she managed to get it on its side a couple of months ago. Hmm

Get another cot and put her back in it. Get a cheap one on eBay or Freevycle and sell it on afterwards.

Freecycle

That would be a good suggestion if I had a vehicle. I don't have the money for a new one right now.
