Car Seat Help

I've done endless Google searches but can't work out the best car seat for a 2 year old that will be easy to pop in and out of taxis and carry when not in use (though not long distances).

We have a trunki backpack for the 4 year old which is great and I'm hoping is safe enough for daily use when I'm working and she comes home by taxi with my friend, but nothing for my 2 year old. Grateful for any suggestions.

Starting a new job soon and sorting out the kids is the most stressful bit! Thanks for any help.

Sorry just to add I'm well aware this wins the award for the most boring thread! 🙈 But I am genuinely stuck so wondered what others do for a spare car seat.

If it's going to be used in lots of different cars, you want something as universal fitting as possible. Obviously rear facing is still the safest option so the Joie Stages could be a good choice. No group 1 seat will be particularly easy to carry around though.

The Trunki is ok for occasional use but I wouldn't use it daily. A light high back booster like the Joie Trillo would be a much safer option.
