Anyone recommend a car seat for a 16 month old?

Currently looking for a car seat for my 16 month old DD. I don't drive and DP doesn't have a car (live close to London, no need). Looking for a car seat for when DD goes in either MILs car or FILs car. It needs to be able to come out relatively easily and switch between both cars so isofix is not an option. I'm not made of money so nothing hugely expensive. I'm completely baffled by the world of car seats so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Britax two way elite from In Car Safety centre online. Super easy to fit with a couple of tether straps, rear or forward faces to 25kg with 5 point harness.

I think a Joie tilt or Joie Stages have great safety reviews and are value for money. You can use them rear facing for longer also. Our Joie tilt cost £65. However I am no expert.
There is an excellent Facebook group called "car seat safety UK".
If you post and say what make and model of cars you're likely to be using and your child's weight and height you will get good advice.
