I've not used the newer expensive one, just the older £60 one. It's the best thing we brought for our baby and works really well. Unless the expensive one makes me a brew as well I'd rebuy the cheaper model again.

I've never used the Night & Day machine so I'm not sure of the differences between the two, but I've got the bog standard one that I've used for the past 14 months for DD1. It's worked brilliantly for us and I've had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. I regularly clean it and change the filters when needed. And I'll be using the same machine for DD2 when she arrives in 4 weeks time. Grin

Is it noisy at night??

It beeps twice when I use, but I have it in the kitchen, so it doesn't disturb baby.

Does it make as much noise as say a kettle boiling? I watched a YouTube review and it seemed really noisy.

The newer one is meant to be quieter

I'd say about as noisy as a kettle at full boil but quicker and there are a couple of bleeps. Ours is in the kitchen and you can't hear it upstairs (unlike the dishwasher bleep).

I've just ordered the new one! Mamas and papas are price matching the white one for £109.99 and they also have a £10 off code '10OFF100' so got it for £100. Not too bad..
