How did you decide to have more than one child. Any of so why and how big of age gap. I would love another and am turning my other half around to the idea. I had preclamsipa wity first and then we had the shock of him coming out llas a boy even though we were told he was a girl all during pregnancy. So maybe I am wanting the girl u thought I was having I adore my son to bita he's my world. As a mother who got told I couldn't have children he's a rainbow baby after 5 miscarriages.

Well I don't know the answer yet but I have a ds who's 22 months and I'm 27 weeks pregnant with dc2. I wanted another one from the moment I had ds but I think it was a lot to do with feeling like I'd failed first time around as he was born at 29 weeks and was very poorly. I didn't want to start trying until I knew I was doing it for the right reasons though and I'm glad we waited a bit. This pregnancy has been very hard so far and I'm having lots of early contractions now and, although the doctors aren't super worried at the moment, I feel like this one could come very early too.
I guess Id say to prepare yourself for a tougher pregnancy. Not everyone does have one but having a toddler around makes it hard to rest as much.
I like the idea of them being close in age amd hopefully playing together. I also like the idea of getting out of the stressful baby years quickly! I didn't want life to get too easy again and for me to get the fear about doing it all again!
I'm sorry this has been a bit of a ramble! What I mean to come across is that it's very normal to wrestle with these decisions and change your mind a lot; I know I did! There are pros and cons to any age gap so just wait until you feel ready then go for it.

There's 10 years between my children. I just decided when my oldest turned 10 that its now or never. And now I've got a 3 month old baby too 🙂 I love the fact they've got an age gap as my oldest adores the baby, helps out loads as she enjoys it.

It's also easy on me as oldest can walk to and from school herself etc. I honestly can't imagine having a baby and a toddler. Just the thought makes me stressed out! But that's just me, each to their own
