My boy wakes up at the crack of dawn and this is the day
6.30 6oz milk
7.30 toast and fruit purée
8.30-9.15 sleep
9.30-10 6oz milk
11.30- 12.30/1.00 sleep
1.00 6oz milk
2.30 mashed banana some days but not every day If I’m In a class or something.
3.00-3.30 sleep
3.30/4.00 6oz milk
7.00 bedtime

Sleeps through with occasional wakes up for comfort or dummy

He hasn’t really changed his milk schedule since 4 months old.
Nap times change daily but that’s average.

This sounds like a great schedule :) unfortunately can't say the same for my 7 month old DS -

7.30am wake up
8.30am breakfast
Will nap anytime between 10am and 12pm, sometimes the nap is 20 minutes but is sometimes 3 hours
Lunch at some point
Nap at some point in the afternoon, again it varies in length
6pm dinner
Bedtime varies from 7pm to 11pm, it changes everyday. He then wakes every hour or two throughout the night.

I haven't included milk as I just feed on demand and I'm not sure how much he's having (ebf).

You've got a really good routine going! I wish mine would do the same Envy

Hi, my dd is 7 months and her routine looks like this
7.30 wake up, 8oz milk
9.00 nap (20-30mins)
9.30 breakfast, weetabix or porridge with some fruit
11.30 8oz milk
12.00 nap (45mins)
1.30 lunch, normally leftovers of what me and dh have had the day before so spaghetti bol, cottage pie, something like that. Sometimes beans and scrambled egg on toast
3.30 8oz milk
4.00 nap (20-30mins)
5.00 small snack, rice cake or yoghurt
6.15 bath
6.45 8oz milk
7.00 bedtime (sleeps through)

She is now sometimes leaving a bit of her 11.30 and 3.30 bottles so I'm hoping to drop a bottle and introduce a proper teatime meal soon.

I'm also hoping I will get her to have fewer but longer naps soon but don't want to change things too much and mess up her nighttime sleeping.

Does your little one not have a bedtime feed? I feel like my dd is a greedy guts with all the milk and food she's having!

My DS is 7.5months
7-7.30 wakes
8am 7oz bottle
9-9.30ish porridge with fruit puree mixed in
10am-ish nap - approx 30mins, occasionally 1hr
10.30- 11am wakes
12pm - lunch. Usually fromage frais, baby puff things, cucumber sticks, cheese sticks, Heinz baby biscuits. Or might have scrambled egg or baked beans. Or perhaps leftovers if suitable.
1-1.30pm-ish nap often 30mins sometimes an hour
2-2.30pm-ish wakes
3pm 7oz bottle
5.30pm tea. Typically has what we are having, stew, noodles, risotto, pasta, chilli etc. If we have pizza or spicy curry etc he will have an Ella's pouch.
6.30pm get in pjs, 7oz bedtime bottle. If he stays awake after bottle then brush gums with toothbrush & listen to story with his big sister & tuck in
7-7.15pm usually asleep. Typically sleeps through but some night's cries out maybe 3times? as lost his dummy but settles back once you find it for him.

Ha!
Wake up: sometime between half 5 and half 7

Nap about 2 hours after wake-up for 30-60mins

Nap for 2 hours about 2 hours after last nap ended.
If lunch nap ends after two, no afternoon nap.
Lunch - varies. Today was homemade chicken casserole with mashed potato
Dinner about 4/5 ish. Varies. Today was assorted finger foods- sweet potato sticks etc, with tuna mash.
Bedtime at six, unless an afternoon nap was needed. Then seven ish.

BF on demand as needed. Water with meals.

Bumpandus · 05/02/2019 16:19

Hi my baby is BF here’s our schedule:

7.30 wake up BF one side (pump other side)
8.30 breakfast (porridge and fruit)
(Awake 2 hours) Nap 9.30-11.30
11.30 feed both sides
12.30 lunch (veg sometimes meat)
(Awake 3 hours) 2.30 nap - 3.30
3.30 feed both sides
Dinner @ 5 (veg sometimes with meat)
Bath @ 6
Feed both sides 6.30
(Awake 3.5hrs) Bed @ 7
Dreamfeed @ 10 (actually I’m starting this tonight I usually feed on demand through night)

For naps I just put her into the next to me crib with her favourite soft toy and she settles within 3-5 mins as long as I stick to the schedule above.

We don’t feed before naps anymore and she has reflux which I believe mad eher uncomfortable to sleep.

We are following an eat, play, sleep routine before this I was feeding on demand but couldn’t get a routine with naps. Now breastfeeding on a schedule and it’s working much better for us. She still wakes a lot in the night and I have to feed her to sleep but I’m working on this! The day time is now great! Especially with having a 7 year old too.

Mines 8 months and we have a semi routine but it's not fixed and times can vary a bit:

6:45/7ish - wake up
7:30 - feed
8:30 - breakfast - small amount of weetabix or porridge
9:30 - nap 1hr
12:30/13:00 - lunch - normally puree, maybe a bit of bread, a baby crisp, cheese, fruit etc depending on the day.
14:00 7oz bottle of milk and nap 1-2hrs depending on the day!
17:00 7oz milk
18:00 puree or mushed dinner if we're having something she can share.
18:40 bath if needed, not everyday, sometimes we do play baths in the day as she loves it!
19:00 story, cuddles and feed to sleep.
