Hopefully nappies will be arriving tomorrow!!!

Hi. I am hoping my new nappies will arrive tomorrow, sandy's popalini and a fluffle. Just wondering how many times is best to wash them before use? Can I wash them a couple of time by hand, do I have to let them dry in between? Thanks

Hi there. Aren't new nappies exciting! The down side is having to wash them first. For cotton, they should be washed 3 times, and you don't have to let them dry between washes. Fluffles are entirely synthetic so they should be ready to go after one wash. Have fun with your new nappies!!

im terrible - i just chuck them on my boy for the look and let him pee through them in an hr when there new! im sooooooooooo impatient! Theres nothing more exciting than a new nappy arriving!

I can't wait. They were dispatched on saturday so Im hoping tomorrow! I have been living with Kushies for the past couple of months and just can't bring myself to use them anymore, especially as DD is teething!

I'm another one who's raring to go! After much dilly-dallying on umpteen websites, I've ordered quite a few different nappies (one of each type) and and bursting to pre-wash and try them, just waiting for the last few to arrive.

I'm also sorely tempted to skip the pre-washing, or just wash them once.

Wooo-hooo! Really should get out more....

I think I will just put them straight on too as im inpatient! Spongbob, what nappies did you order? I ordered sandy's, fluffle and tots bot cotton and 1 motherease wrap as I have several wraps.

I ordered tots cotton, motherease one-size, bambineo, bumble, Ella's house hemp and a couple of bamboo terries. Already have little lamb and kushies, plus normal terries as a freebie from the council.

I also got airflow and rikki wraps, plus a nature babies one.

Am on a budget, hence the inclusion of terries, but I'm hopeful the bamboo ones will be as soft and luvverly as the bambineo (which feels just gorgeous!)
