What sort of things do you do with your younger child or children on a day to day basis if you have older children in school?

I’m just wondering,
I’ve just had another baby after a 7 year gap and this whole stay at home mum stage is all new to me again. I’m just wondering what sort of things I could get up to when baby is a bit older in the time between school runs. I’d like to Think I could fill my time well with LO as I’m planning not to go back to work for a while as this will be my last baby. I plan on doing some baby groups but would like to hear what you all get up to

My eldest is year 1 at school and youngest is 2 and not in nursery. With number 2 I went to the same play groups I loved with my eldest. I also did all sorts of classes the same like monkey music, tiny tots, etc but my little boy didn't enjoy them like my daughter and I found them soul destroying. So instead I focused on what he likes and we joined a country park so he can be outside which he loves and we walk our dogs alot. I've also recently joined a gym that has a crèche and he goes there an hour a day while I exercise.

I got quite down that my youngest didn't enjoy the same things my eldest did but once I accepted that things got better. Now I have until September when he starts nursery and we love our routine. He just prefers time with me so it's a bit lonely at times.

I’m sorry to hear that Cantdoright, they’re all difeeeent I suppose. But the fact he loves outdoors is great. I’m thinking we’ll try and spend a lot of time outdoors as well.
I’m just trying to get some ideas as I like to have a plan for the week and getting out and about would be lovely
