Baby carriers?

Hi my 4 month old is keen to see the world so needs a forward facing carrier now. He's quite long and heavy, so ideally want one that will still last a while and be comfortable. Any suggestions? Budget is flexible.

You want something that supports the legs right out to the knee, otherwise it puts too much strain on their hips and won’t be comfortable, Ergo 360 is good and you can turn them onwards for naps

That should say inwards!

We avoided the forward facing ones as i think dangling mid air must be quite weird. The decent brands didnt used ti forward face either but I believe the newer ergos have changed their mind and do! At least with proper support so they arent dangling!

I do like an ergo.

Inwards is better for both of you. They can still see a lot.

How about a hip carry using a ring sling? Outwards facing is fine for up to 20 mins but it's frustrating having to turn them around after such a short time! On the hip, baby can look around but still look back to you for comfort or if overwhelmed.

There's a group in facebook called slings and things that have a huge variety.
