1 year old biting and screeching

My daughter has not long turned 1 and she seems to have developed a horrific attitude.
She's being more fussy at meal times. We went to the shop yesterday and she literally screeched the whole way around for no apparent reason. If I'm on the phone or take my attention away from her for a second she does that deafening screech. I'm getting to the end of my tether with the headaches.
To make it worse if I tell her not to do something, for example if she goes for something she shouldn't... She will screech and try to bite me. She's bitten me a few times out of frustration leaving bruises and marks on my leg.
Please can someone help. Everyone warns me about terrible two's but she's awful already at 1

I'm a single first time mom so I'm trying my best.

That sounds very similar to my son, he went through the same screaming if I even attempted to do anything other than play with him.

He also started biting out of frustration (when I wouldn't let him play with the oven mostly) Hmm

I spoke to the health visitor and they suggested to over emphasise how much they are hurting you but in time when he could start telling me what was wrong or what he wanted this behaviour has massively reduced.

I also found he would only bite me, it's a horrible stage but at 18 months my son has gotten so much better with telling me and pointing rather than the screaming!

The only problem with over emphasising how much they hurt you is it then might become a game where they enjoy getting a reaction
