Teachers being caring

I am very impressed with my 6yr olds school because the teachers are always caring towards the kids, especially when they are outside playing :). Now, I know that is normal so I am certainly not complaining. Anyway, I was walking past the school at lunchtime after doing my show when I noticed one of my daughters teachers zipping her jacket up and then explaining to her that she needs to stay warm in the cold weather, it was freezing and my dd was only in a T-shirt so I'm presuming that she was too hot in class so took her jumper off.

I spoke to my daughter after school and was getting her though on the teacher and she only said nice things about her. It's so nice to hear, especially with teaching being a very tough job.

So, are your kids school teachers as caring, would they advise their pupils to go in for jumpers/jackets or zip jackets up for children :)?

I'm a TA in our village infant school & I do a lot of coat zipping up (or extracting child from said coat when the zip gets stuck), a lot of wiping noses, sorting out grazed hands & knees, giving cuddles & comforting children if they are upset/worried... I love those moments when a little hand slides into yours on the playground, just because they want that little bit of reassurance. I'm currently on mat leave but I love seeing children from school around the village and seeing how excited they are to see my little one. I really do love my job.
