Do I need a buggy?

Hello all!
I’ve got my mother and mil mithering me, telling me that I must have a buggy. You know the ones, the collapsible/umbrella fold type. Do I really need one though? Little one is one and I have an Egg that I’m very happy with and have no complaints. The only ones complaining are family.....who don’t even use it!
Thanks all for your advice.

Why do they think you need it? Do they look after your baby a lot? Are they struggling to use your egg? If they are then it might be worth picking one up cheaply for them. You can get them second hand for a song. If not then it really isn't any of their business and no you don't need one. We bought one cheap to take on holiday as I didn't want my Silvercross going through the airport and getting thrown about and trashed. It's been really useful for travelling but I don't use it apart from that.

We have a proper buggy that's part of the travel system we got for DD (2.5) when she was born. We were given an umbrella one as a gift about nine months ago. We only used it twice because it's very flimsy. DD walks or goes in her old buggy for longer journeys.

Thank you both so much for confirming my thoughts ☺️ That’s the thing, they don’t look after little one at all so don’t use the pram!! The times they have used it they’ve liked it and said it steers really well. Honestly I’m getting so annoyed with them moaning at me to buy a buggy, I tell them every time I don’t need one and I’m happy with the Egg. I think they think they know best as they have numerous grand children. I appreciate them trying to help but nagging me isn’t going to work!
