I’m due my second in a couple of months when my DD will have just turned 2. She’s a good walker, but we walk a lot and can’t be trusted when out and about (she’s a bolter!), so single plus buggy board probably wouldn’t work. I also don’t really fancy having the baby in a sling all summer!!

I’ve pretty much ruled out side by side as my daughter will be in childcare 3/4 days a week, so ideally a tandem where I can add/remove a seat. I’m thinking about a second hand phil&teds....any recommendations of what worked for you? Thanks

We bought a phil and Ted sports model second hand...have yet to use it but think it will come in handy x

Hi,
Same age gap as you and we got a Joie Evalite Duo. Not a removable seat but inline configuration (baby goes at the back closest to you with a handy window in the hood), very light and less than 200 quid. I wouldn't be without it. Folds up easily too. Best of luck with it all!

hisashiburi - what made you choose the sport over the others? The hand brake thing is kind of putting me off, seems a bit like an airport trolley!!

nine - thanks, will check out the evalite too
