Weaning/feeding advice

DD2 is 6 months & shes just not interested in finger food, she doesn't even chew toys she'll only chews her hands. I see loads of babies her age picking stuff up & putting to their mouth.
I was hoping to go down the blw route but doesn't look i will be able to.
Has anyone else had this or have any advice for this? Thanks

There's no rush to start weaning. If you want to do BLW you absolutely can - just keep offering her foods and when she's ready she will start taking an interest.

Does she watch you eating? You could try having a few bites then give her some. Also, keep it casual. Put the food in front of her but don't sit there staring in wait.

Why not? Baby’s main source of nutrition until 12 months is milk. Maybe she’s just not ready. Keep offering her food and when she’s ready she will begin exploring it.

Thanks all, we always sit her with us when we are eating so she sees us eating & we put a few bits on her tray sometimes. She occasionally will pick it up & look at it then puts it back down. I did blw with my first but i can't remember much about it.
I will just carry on offering some bits & I'm sure she will take to it soon.
